 tic dynamics studies to those set by exoplanet mass characterization. As t
 ime went by\, the search for lower-mass planets on longer periods pushed f
 or higher measurement precision and improved instrument stability. But the
  detection of a transiting planet in 2000 and an exo-atmosphere in 2010 re
 shuffled scientific priorities. Today\, atmosphere characterization is don
 e mostly on spectrographs designed for precise RVs\, and yet is having a f
