nXMC IV: Clouds over the Havel is the fourth edition in the XMC workshop s
eries\, bringing the international Clouds community together for a week of
focused discussion on the Large and Small Clouds (LMC and SMC) and their
surrounding systems.\nThe Clouds offer a unique opportunity to study inter
acting dwarf galaxies in unprecedented detail\, from their stellar populat
ions and internal structure to their dynamical evolution and interaction w
ith their surroundings. In recent years\, large-scale surveys such as Gaia
\, VMC\, and SDSS-V have transformed our understanding of the Clouds\, pro
viding precise astrometry\, deep time-series photometry\, and detailed spe
ctroscopic maps of stellar populations and the interstellar medium. Lookin
 g ahead\, ongoing and upcoming facilities—including 4MOST\, MOONS\, Rubi
 n\, Euclid\, and Roman—promise highly multiplexed spectroscopy\, deep wi
 de-field imaging\, and extensive time-domain coverage\, opening new avenue
s for research.\nBuilding on Potsdam's long tradition in astronomy and ast
rophysics\, XMC IV will provide a forum for the community to discuss the l
atest discoveries\, foster new collaborations\, and shape the next decade
of research on the Clouds and their environments.\nThe workshop will explo
re diverse topics\, ranging from the stellar populations\, formation histo
ries\, and dynamical evolution of the Clouds to the properties of their ga
s and dust. It will also highlight the scientific opportunities offered by
current and upcoming surveys and facilities.\nOrganising Committees:\nSOC
