We will organize several social events during the conference.
Social and Networking Evening (Tuesday, March 21 at 20:00):
During this evening, we will host a small, fun event (mostly aimed at the more junior conference participants) at 11-LINE, a bar in the city center of Potsdam. Details to be announced.
Tour of Telegrafenberg (Wednesday, March 22 at 13:00, during lunch break):
We will organize a walking tour of the Telegrafenberg, the research campus surrounding our conference venue which hosts the Einsteintower and the Great Refractor. If possible, a second parallel tour will be offered to the Great Refractor (upcoming construction work permitting).
Einsteinhaus and Conference Dinner (Thursday, March 23, from 16:00):
We plan a visit to the "Einsteinhaus" in Caputh (Albert Einstein's summer home) in the afternoon, followed by a conference dinner at the "Kavalierhaus Caputh" in a park right by the lake "Templiner See". Caputh is a small town about seven kilometers (~15 minute drive) south os Potsdam. We will organize a transfer by bus.
